Ready for Work Toggle

FlowForth Team

Routes now include a Ready for Work toggle that lets planners control when routes become visible on worker dashboards and trigger client notifications.

What's new

  • Ready for Work toggle on each route card in the Route Planner — mark routes as ready when they're finalized. The toggle uses a distinct amber pill style for "Not Ready" to clearly stand out from status badges.
  • Mark All Ready button below the toolbar to mark all eligible routes for a date as ready in one click.
  • Dashboard filtering — optionally hide non-ready routes from worker dashboards (organization setting).
  • Notification gating — optionally defer client reminders until routes are marked as ready (organization setting). This applies to both automatic scheduled notifications and manual dispatch via the Send Reminders button.
  • Dispatch warning — when notification gating is enabled, the Send Reminders dialog shows a warning indicating how many routes are excluded because they aren't marked as ready.
  • Two new organization settings to control dashboard filtering and notification gating.

Why this matters

Planners can now prepare routes in advance without workers seeing incomplete schedules or clients receiving premature reminders. When routes are finalized, simply mark them as ready to release them.

How to get started

  1. Open the Route Planner and use the Ready for Work toggle on route cards.
  2. To enable dashboard filtering or notification gating, go to Settings → Organization and enable the relevant options.

See the Ready for Work guide for full details.
