Very Important Clients
You can now mark a client as a Very Important Client, so that new activities for that client are flagged as very important jobs automatically — no more remembering to tick the box every time.
What's new
- Very Important Client toggle on the client form (both when adding a client and when editing one). Turn it on for clients whose work is always high-priority.
- Automatic highlight on new activities — when the toggle is on, new activities for any of the client's locations default to very important jobs and pick up the attention-grabbing highlight across the calendar, planners, and route dashboard. You can still un-tick a single activity at creation; the client setting is a default, not a lock.
- Optional bulk update on save — when you turn the toggle on or off while editing an existing client, you can choose to apply the change to that client's current and upcoming non-complete activities in one step. A confirmation summarizes how many activities will be updated before you save.
- Safe by scope — the bulk update only touches non-complete activities (Scheduled, In Progress, Can't Complete) scheduled for today or later, across all of the client's locations. Completed, cancelled, and past-dated activities are left untouched.
Why this matters
Some clients always have important work. Reflecting that once at the client level is far easier than flagging every individual activity, and the bulk action lets you bring a newly onboarded important client's existing backlog in line instantly.
How to get started
- Open a client and click Edit (or add a new client).
- Turn on Very Important Client and save. If editing, optionally tick the follow-up choice to update existing activities.
