Faster Tag Filtering, Contact Phone in the Client List, and Past-Activity Cleanup

Three improvements this release: the Activity Planner's tag filter is now a one-click chip row, the clients grid shows contact phone numbers (and search finds clients by them), and locations gained a reviewed bulk cleanup for leftover past activities.

What's new

Tag chips in the Activity Planner

  • The tag filter is now an inline chip row in the planner's filter bar, matching the Client Calendar. Every tag is visible at a glance — no dropdown to open first.
  • One click to filter — click a chip to switch a tag on, click it again to switch it off. Selected chips are filled with the tag's own colour; a Clear all link appears as soon as anything is selected.
  • Your existing tag selections carry over — the planner still remembers them in your browser, so the filters you had set are restored exactly as before.
  • The tag search box and the Client / Auto / Manual sections are gone; all tags are now listed together in one row.

Contact phone in the clients grid

  • The Contact column now shows the contact's phone number under their email address, so you can look a number up without opening the client.
  • Click-to-call — tapping the number on a phone or tablet starts the call directly.
  • Search matches contact details too — the clients search box now searches the contact name, contact email, and contact phone number in addition to the company name. When someone calls, you can type their number straight into the search box to find them.

Clean up past activities on a location

  • A new "Clean up past" button in the Activities section of a location clears out activities that were scheduled in the past, never started, and never made it onto a route.
  • You review before anything is deleted — a dialog lists every candidate with its date and title, all ticked by default. Untick anything you want to keep; the delete button shows the live count.
  • Present and future work is never touched — only activities dated before today with the status Scheduled are offered, and recurring series are protected: individual past occurrences can be removed, but the series itself is never deleted.
  • Routed and invoiced activities are excluded, and every selection is re-checked at the moment you confirm. Anything that no longer qualifies is skipped and reported with the reason instead of failing the whole cleanup.

Why this matters

The chip row turns tag filtering into a single click while planning. Contact phone numbers in the grid, plus search that matches them, close the "a client is on the phone — who is this?" loop without leaving the list. And the location cleanup finally gives you a safe way to clear out dead past rows in bulk, instead of deleting them one at a time.

How to get started

  • Open the Activity Planner and click any tag chip in the filter bar.
  • Open the Clients list on a large screen to see contact phone numbers, or search for a number.
  • Open a location, scroll to Activities, and click Clean up past.
