Permits Overview

FlowForth's permit management feature lets you track organization-level permits and licenses with configurable expiry reminders. Never miss a renewal deadline again.

Key Concepts

Concept	Description
Permit	An organization-level license or permit that has an expiration date (e.g., business license, insurance certificate, operating permit).
Reminder	A configurable in-app alert that fires a set number of days before the permit's expiration date.

How It Works

1. Create a permit — Add the permit name, expiration date, and how many days before expiry you want to be reminded.
2. Receive reminders — When the permit enters its reminder window, an alert appears on your admin dashboard.
3. Renew permits — When you renew a permit, update the expiration date and the reminder resets automatically.

Permit Statuses

Status	Meaning
Active	The permit is current and not yet expired.
Expired	The permit has passed its expiration date.
Renewed	The permit has been renewed with a new expiration date.

Who Can Access

Role	Access
Admin	Full management of permits. Receives reminder alerts.
Employee	No access to permits.
