Default VAT PercentageThe VAT rate applied to new line items when the tax category is S (Standard). Defaults to 21%. When the default tax code is non-S, this is automatically set to 0% and read-only.

The available tax codes are:

CodeMeaning
S — Standard rateThe default. Standard VAT rate applies.
Z — Zero ratedVAT applies at 0%.
E — Exempt from taxNo VAT charged; an exemption reason is required on the invoice.
O — Outside scope of VATTransaction is not subject to VAT.
AE — Reverse chargeVAT is accounted for by the buyer (reverse charge mechanism).
K — Intra-community supplyZero-rated supply within the EU.
G — Export outside EUZero-rated export to a non-EU country.
info

The default tax code is set to S (Standard rate) for new organizations. Change it here if your organization primarily uses a different tax category — for example, AE (Reverse charge) if most of your clients handle VAT through reverse charge.

Route Settings

Control how the Ready for Work feature behaves across your organization:

SettingDescription
Only show Ready for Work routes on dashboardWhen enabled, routes that have not been marked as Ready for Work are hidden from the dashboard and worker schedules. Activities not assigned to any route are always shown.
Only send reminders for Ready for Work routesWhen enabled, client appointment reminders are only scheduled for activities on routes that have been marked as Ready for Work. When a route is marked ready, notifications are scheduled automatically.

Both settings default to off (disabled). When disabled, all routes appear on dashboards and all eligible activities trigger notifications, regardless of their Ready for Work status.

info

For details on the Ready for Work toggle itself, see Ready for Work.
