Activity Reports
The Activity Report helps you forecast upcoming revenue based on scheduled activities. Unlike invoice reports that look at past revenue, activity reports project future income from planned work.
Accessing Activity Reports
- Navigate to Reports from the main navigation menu.
- Click the Activities Report card.

Summary Cards
At the top of the page, three summary cards display key metrics based on your current filters:
- Total Forecasted Revenue — The combined value of all scheduled activities in the selected period.
- Completed Revenue — Revenue from activities that have already been marked as complete.
- Total Activities — The number of activities included in the report.
Revenue Chart
The main chart displays revenue trends over time with three data series:
- Forecasted Revenue — Total expected revenue from all scheduled activities.
- Completed Revenue — Revenue from activities already completed.
- Activity Count — The number of activities per time period (displayed on a secondary Y-axis).
Interacting with the Chart
- Hover over data points to see exact values for that date.
- Click a legend item to show or hide that data series.
- The left Y-axis shows currency amounts; the right Y-axis shows activity counts.
Chart Granularity
Control how data points are grouped using the granularity selector:
- Daily — One data point per calendar day.
- Weekly — One data point per week.
- Monthly — One data point per month.

Filters
Narrow the report to specific data using the available filters:
Client Filter
Select one or more clients to view only their activities. Leave empty to include all clients.
Date Range
Choose a time period from the presets or set custom dates:

| Next 3 Months | Activities scheduled in the next 3 months |
| Next 6 Months | Activities scheduled in the next 6 months |
| Next 12 Months | Activities scheduled in the next 12 months |
| All Time | All scheduled activities regardless of date |
| Custom | Select specific start and end dates |
Use the Next 3 Months preset for short-term cash flow forecasting, or All Time to see the full picture of your planned workload.
Understanding the Data
The activity report includes all scheduled activities, whether or not they have been invoiced. This makes it useful for:
- Revenue forecasting — Estimate future income based on planned work.
- Workload planning — See how many activities are scheduled per period.
- Completion tracking — Compare forecasted revenue against what has actually been completed.
