Viewing & Editing Location Details
The location detail page gives you a complete view of a location's information, with the ability to edit all fields in place and manage activities at that location.
Accessing the Detail Page
You can reach a location's detail page by:
- Clicking on a location name from the Locations section on a client's detail page.
- Navigating directly to the location's URL.
At the top of the page, you'll see a ← Back link to return to the client detail page.
Page Sections
Location Overview
The overview section displays:
- External Location ID — Your own reference number for this location (displayed in monospace font).
- Name — The descriptive name of the location.
- Contact Name — The on-site contact person.
- Contact Phone — The contact's phone number.
- Google Maps Link — A link to view this location on Google Maps.
- Notes — Notes visible only to your team.
Location overview section
Address
Shows the location's full address, including:
- Street Address — The street name and number.
- Address Line 2 — Building, floor, or apartment info.
- Postal Code — The postal or ZIP code.
- City — The city name.
- Country — The country.
Coordinates
If the address has been validated, this section shows:
- Latitude and Longitude — The geographic coordinates.
- A map preview showing the location's position.

Activities
A list of all activities scheduled at this location. From here you can:
- View existing activities and their status, pricing, and recurrence information.
- Click on an activity to navigate to its detail page.
- Create new activities directly from this location page.
- Delete activities.
Editing a Location
- Click the Edit button in the top-right corner of the location section.
- All fields become editable.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save Changes to apply.
The page will return to read mode with your updated information displayed.
Validation
While editing, FlowForth validates your input:
- Name — Required. Every location must have a name.
- Street Address — Required. The street name and number must be provided.
The External Location ID field is useful when you use FlowForth alongside another system and need to cross-reference locations. It is also used as the matching key during bulk import.
Deleting a Location
To delete a location:
- Open the location detail page.
- Click the Delete button.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
Deleting a location will also remove all activities associated with it. This action cannot be undone. Make sure you no longer need the location or its activities before deleting.
