Invoice Dashboard

The Invoice Dashboard gives you an at-a-glance overview of outstanding work requiring attention: clients with uninvoiced activities, unpaid invoices (with overdue highlighting), and unsettled credit notes. It prioritizes quick actions — creating invoices, marking as paid, and sending reminders — over analytics.

Accessing the Dashboard

Navigate to Invoices from the main navigation menu, then select Dashboard. It is the first item in the Invoices section.

Summary Stats Bar

At the top of the page, four stat cards provide a financial overview:

CardWhat It Shows
Outstanding InvoicesTotal amount and count of all sent (unpaid) invoices
Outstanding Credit NotesTotal amount and count of all sent (unpaid) credit notes
Overdue InvoicesCount and total amount of sent invoices past their due date
Clients to InvoiceNumber of clients with uninvoiced completed activities and total unbilled amount
tip

Invoice and credit note amounts are shown as separate figures, not netted against each other.

Clients Ready to Invoice

This section shows clients with completed activities that haven't been placed on an invoice yet. It helps you identify unbilled revenue and act on it quickly.

Each row displays:

ColumnDescription
ClientClient name — click to go to the invoice creation flow
ActivitiesNumber of completed, uninvoiced activities
Oldest ActivityDays since the oldest uninvoiced activity (e.g., "45 days ago")
Total UnbilledSum of prices for all uninvoiced completed activities
Action"Create Invoice" button — opens the new invoice form with the client pre-selected

Filters

Two optional filters help surface clients with a large buildup of uninvoiced work:

  • Min. activities — Only show clients with at least this many uninvoiced activities.
  • Min. age (days) — Only show clients whose oldest uninvoiced activity is at least this many days old.

Filters reset when you leave the page.

Sort Order

Clients are sorted by oldest activity age (descending) by default — clients with the oldest unbilled work appear first.

A combined list of all sent invoices that haven't been paid, with visual distinction for overdue items.

Each row displays:

Marking as Paid

Click Mark as Paid on any invoice to record payment. A confirmation dialog appears before the action is completed.

Unpaid Credit Notes

This section lists sent credit notes that haven't been settled. Unpaid credit notes represent unresolved liabilities, so they are given prominent placement.

Each row displays:
