Notification Preferences
FlowForth lets you configure notification settings at two levels: organization-wide defaults and per-client overrides. This guide covers the organization-level settings that control how notifications behave across your account.

Before You Begin
You need the Organization Admin role to manage organization-level notification settings. The Notifications integration must also be enabled for your organization.
Accessing Notification Settings
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations from the main navigation menu.
- Click on the Notifications integration card.
- The integration page shows your notification configuration options.

Enabling Notifications
If the Notifications integration is not yet active:
- On the Integrations page, find the Notifications card.
- Click Activate to enable notifications for your organization.
Once activated, notification-related features become visible throughout the app, including the notification section on client detail pages and the Communications menu in the navigation.
Until the integration is activated, all notification features are hidden. If team members cannot see notification options, verify that the integration is enabled.
Default Reminder Settings
When you opt a new client into notifications, their reminder preferences start with the organization defaults:

These defaults apply to newly opted-in clients. Existing client preferences are not affected when you change the defaults.
Messaging Mode
FlowForth supports two messaging modes:
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Shared number | Messages are sent from FlowForth's shared WhatsApp number. This is the default and requires no additional setup. |
| Dedicated number | Messages are sent from your organization's own WhatsApp number, showing your business name. See Dedicated WhatsApp Numbers. |
Ready for Work Gating
An additional organization-level setting controls whether notifications are gated by route readiness:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Only send reminders for Ready for Work routes | When enabled, client reminders are only scheduled for activities on routes marked as Ready for Work. |
This setting is configured on the Organization Settings page. When enabled, notifications for activities on non-ready routes are deferred until the route is marked ready in the Route Planner. See Scheduled Notifications for details on the notification lifecycle.
