Activity Confirmations

Activity confirmations allow clients to acknowledge upcoming scheduled activities via WhatsApp. When a client confirms an activity, FlowForth records the confirmation for your reference.

info

Activity confirmations require the Notifications integration to be enabled for your organization. Clients must also be opted in to WhatsApp notifications to receive confirmation requests.

How Confirmations Work

When a notification is sent to a client about an upcoming activity, the client can respond to confirm the activity. FlowForth records:

  • Which client confirmed the activity
  • Which activity was confirmed
  • Scheduled date of the confirmed activity
  • When the confirmation was received
  • How the client confirmed — either by clicking a button in the WhatsApp message or by replying with a keyword

Confirmation Methods

MethodDescription
ButtonThe client taps a confirmation button in the interactive WhatsApp message
KeywordThe client replies with a keyword to confirm

The confirmation method depends on the type of notification template configured for your organization. Interactive templates include buttons, while text-only templates rely on keyword replies.

Viewing Confirmations

Confirmations are tracked at the activity level. When a client confirms an upcoming activity, the confirmation status is recorded and visible to your team.

Why Confirmations Matter

Confirmations help you:

  • Reduce no-shows — Know in advance whether a client expects your visit.
  • Plan routes more efficiently — Adjust routes based on which activities are confirmed.
  • Improve client communication — Follow up with clients who haven't confirmed.

Setting Up Confirmations

Activity confirmations work automatically as part of the notification system. To enable them:

  1. Ensure the Notifications integration is active for your organization.
  2. Opt in clients to WhatsApp notifications.
  3. Configure notification templates that include confirmation options.

Once set up, confirmations are collected automatically whenever clients respond to notification messages.
